WordPerfect Universe offers a
metadata removal macro.

Metadata is a ubiquitous problem. However, there are several sources to help combat it. Corel recently published a document on its Web site titled “Minimizing Metadata Content in WordPerfect Documents,” which describes metadata and reduction methods. Corel also released a utility called wplook.exe for fixing corrupt documents that also will delete the “Undo” history in documents. It should work with any WordPerfect for Windows 6.x document or later. This is a useful tool for deleting the “Undo” history already contained within a WordPerfect document.

If you want a macro to delete metadata, check out Jim Shackelford’s post on WordPerfect Universe. He wrote a metadata removal macro that is included as a download. When you save the nometa.wcm macro to your default macros folder and run it, a dialog appears listing the types of metadata it will delete.

There also are tips and other macros on Barry MacDonnell’s Toolbox for WordPerfect site. Among the helpful WordPerfect tools available on this site, there is a macro called “Updater” you might find useful. This macro updates the current on-screen document with the system’s default template settings, which is helpful when annotating documents from another source.
