Fine Print

Document Management
Utilities

A few years ago, court reporters engineered a way to provide transcripts in a condensed print format so that four pages could be printed onto one sheet. Using Fine Print from Single Track Software, you can now do the same with documents you create at your office.

Fine Print uses your existing printer to print one, two, four or eight document pages on one sheet of paper. You can also use Fine Print for headers, footers, time stamps and watermarks on documents. While most word processing programs do the same thing, the process is often cumbersome. With Fine Print, you can easily create reuseable watermarks for all your documents.

Another use for Fine Print in your law offices could be to create in-house newsletters and/or client alerts. With Fine print, you can print two pages on one side of a sheet of paper, then reverse the page to print on the back. After printing the newsletter, just fold down the center and you have a four-page newsletter. Or you can use Fine Print to create office manuals in a condensed format. This inexpensive product will quickly pay for itself.

Fine Print is shareware, and as such is available online or directly from the software vendor. As you know, shareware is a "try-before-you-buy" system that lets you evaluate the program before shelling out any money. Unfortunately, users often forget to pay the vendor. This is unfortunate, particularly considering that, at least as far as Fine Print is considered, it's a small price to pay for such a wonderful little program. Support your shareware vendor and send in the registration fee!
