DacEasy Accounting, Version 11

Accounting

DacEasy is one of the pioneers in the small business accounting software industry and continues to provide a quality product designed for small businesses.

DacEasy Accounting, Version 11 comes complete with 10 modules, including a General Ledger module, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules, an Inventory module and a terrific Custom Report Writer. There is a Fixed Assets module as well. For a complete system, an add-on Payroll module also is available. Each module is designed to work independently, as well as together for a fully integrated accounting system. And because DacEasy is designed based on GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), you can be assured any information processed in the system produces an accurate analysis of your firm’s financial health.

DacEasy is designed for the small business market. Its basic structure, while sound, is generic, and lends itself better to product-based businesses.

DacEasy is launched from “The Business Center,” which gives you quick access to all system modules. From the business center, you also can view multiple windows simultaneously, add and view company profiles, and access Internet options.

The Accounts Payable module in DacEasy gives you the choice to enter vendor invoices directly through the payables ledger or by using the Purchasing module. In DacEasy, information isn’t automatically posted to the general ledger at the time of the entry, so you can determine how frequently you post transactions. Another nice feature is the ability to review system transactions for errors before you post them to the system. And because DacEasy tracks vendor history, 1099s can be printed painlessly at year-end.

In the Accounts Receivable module, you can enter service invoices or invoice totals from another system such as a time and billing software, so you can accurately track firm receivables. There is no time and billing option available in DacEasy.

One of the strongest features in DacEasy is its extensive reporting capabilities. These reporting options along with DacEasy’s straightforward processing capabilities could automate smaller firms overnight.
