Corel Print Office is a suite of three products: Corel's Print Office, Photo House 2.1 and Colleagues & Contacts. Although not a legal-specific program, some solo lawyers or those in small offices may find it useful for creating brochures, flyers and newsletters.

Print Office is simple to use. The drawing tools are based on Corel's powerful CorelDraw technology. With Print Office you can flow text between frames (often needed for newsletters), add drop caps and adjust leading (spacing between lines) and kerning (spacing between letters) with ease to produce professional looking marketing documents. You can also wrap text around graphic images. Documents can be saved in HTML format for publishing on the Web.

There are over 500 customizable templates for you to use to design bro-chures, flyers, greeting cards and news-letters. You can preview templates before selecting one to use. There are also over 2,200 third-party templates. Print Office also includes 35,000 graph-ics, of which 10,000 are photos.

The second portion of the Print Office Suite is Corel Photo House 2.1. It is based on technology from Corel Photo-Paint. With Photo House, you can manipulate digital images, such as those from digital cameras.

The last component of the Suite is Corel Colleagues & Contacts. This program includes a calendar to keep track of upcoming meetings, appointments, holidays and other important events. You can use it to remind you to create a greeting card for a client or to create your firm newsletter.

Print Office is an easy-to-use yet powerful publishing solution. While not designed specifically for the legal office, lawyers may find it to be a suitable substitute for a more expensive desktop publishing program.
